Vientiane, SANA- Syria’s national football team lost 0-1 to Democratic Korea in the match that was held on Thursday in the group qualifiers to the World Cup and Asia finals.
Democratic Korea’s goal came in the first minute of the additional time.
The Syrian team kept its second place in Group B with 7 points and it will play a difficult match against Japan next Tuesday.
It must beat Japan in the next round to ensure a seat in the third and decisive round of the qualifications.
