Maduro: US and its European partners prevented Kiev from signing settlement agreement with Russia

Caracas, SANA- Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said that the US administration and its European partners prevented the Ukrainian regime from signing a settlement agreement with Russia.

Novosti Agency quoted Maduro as saying on his television show “With Maduro” as saying that the preliminary agreement was ready for signing, yet orders were issued by the American administration and the European Union elites to Kiev not to sign it, as they consider that Russia must be divided.

Russian President Vladimir Putin revealed in an interview with American Journalist Tucker Carlson last February that negotiations with Ukraine in 2022 were about to end, but the Ukrainian side abandoned all agreements after the withdrawal of Russian forces from the outskirts of Kiev.
