Damascus, SANA-President Bashar al-Assad on Tuesday exchanged congratulation cables with a number of Presidents and kings of Arab and foreign states on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
The President received cables form his majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa of Bahiran, Sheikh Mohammad bin Zaid Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, President Abd El-Fattah Sisi of Egypt, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, President Mahmoud Abbas of Palestine, President Mohamed Ould Ghazouan of Mauritania, Chairman of transitional Sovereignty Council of Sudan Abdel Fattah al-Burhan , President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow, President of Indonesia Joko Widodo, President of Eretria Isaias Afwerki, President of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, President of Bangladesh Mohammed Shahabuddin, President of Mali, Colonel Assimi Goïta.
President al-Assad also received congratulation cables from Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mansour bin Zaid Al Nahyan, vice President of the UAE, Emir Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince of Bahrain, and Ahmad Abu Al-Gheit, Secretary General of the Arab League.
