Oman, Kuwait, SANA- Syria’s al-Wihda football club has defeated Jordanian al-Wehdat club 1/0 in the 3rd round of the group A of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup which also includes Lebanese Salam Zgharta club and Omani al-Nahda club.
The goal was scored by Osama Omari at the 5th minute of the match, and by this goal al-Wihda team secured three points to rank second in the group A.
Meanwhile, Syria’s al-Jaish (army) football club, which also represents Syria in the AFC Cup, has achieved positive results winning a point after drawing with the Kuwaiti Kuwait club 0/0 to stay in the second position of the group D with 7 points.
