Syria wins a silver medal in taekwondo at the Arab Cup in the UAE

Abu Dhabi,SANA- Syrian national taekwondo player Fatima Qassem won the silver medal in the Arab Cup Championship currently being held in the Emirate of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates.

She won the silver medal after playing four strong fights with players from Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Tunisia.

1,300 players from 22 Arab countries are participating in this tournament, which is the largest participation in Arab tournaments.
