A citizen killed in explosion of mine left behind by ISIS terrorists, Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor– SANA- A citizen was martyred when a mine left behind by ISIS terrorists went off in the village of Al-Mariyah in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

” A 15-year-old young man arrived at the hospital in critical condition, as a result of severe injuries to the chest and abdomen that led to his death after a short period.”  The Director of the General Authority of Al-Assad Hospital, Dr. Mamoun Haiza, told a SANA reporter.

Terrorist organizations planted mines and IEDs in areas where they were deployed, between homes, roads, and agricultural lands before their defeat, with the intention of causing the greatest possible damage to civilians who had returned to their areas liberated from terrorism, or to intimidate them and prevent them from returning.
