Damascus, SANA- Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Fayssal Mikdad met Saturday Talal Naji, Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command, and his accompanying delegation.
Mikdad asserted Syria’s principled and firm support for the Palestinian cause, noting the heroic struggle of the people of Gaza who taught the Zionist enemy an unforgettable lesson.
Mikdad stressed the need for stopping the bloody Israeli aggression which brutally targeted Gaza’s children and women and destroyed its hospitals and civilian facilities.
Mikdad indicated that Syria rejects any attempts to displace people of Gaza and the Palestinians in general outside of their cities and villages.
The minister condemned all the war crimes and crimes against the humanity committed by the Israeli occupation against Gaza over the past weeks in a violation of the International law principles.
Naji, for his part, thanked Syria and all resistance fighters for their firm and principled support for the Palestinian cause.
He underlined that the Palestinian people will continue struggle against the Israeli massacres and the racist occupation policies aimed at liquidating the Palestinian cause until establishing the Palestinian independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
