Paris, SANA – Members of the Syrian community in France gathered in the Trocadero in Paris to express support for Syria in its war against terrorism.
The participants, who also included French and Arab citizens, carried Syrian flags and pictures of President Bashar al-Assad and voiced support for the Syrian Arab Army, lauding the Syria’s resilience in the face of the conspiracy targeting them.
They also denounced the governments that are conspiring against Syria and supporting terrorists from over 80 countries who seek to destroy Syria’s people and culture.
Head of the Gathering of Expatriates for Syria association Omran al-Khatib said that the terrorist war against Syria, which has employed lies and propaganda, is destined to fail, asserting that the European public opinion in general and the French public opinion in particular doesn’t believe mass media lies anymore, and now it is searching for the truth.
Aghiad Fayyad, a Syrian airline pilot living in France, saying that the war against Syria began with a fake revolution seeking to replace Syrians with strangers, denouncing the positions assumed by the Arab League regarding what is happening in Syria.
Likewise, Mahmoud Sheikh Taha, a Syrian painter living in France, voiced confidence that the whole world will one day stand and apologize for the crimes it committed against Syria.
