He said that the number of people in need are increased as a result of the terrorist war on Syria for years, the earthquake disaster, and unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on it, in addition to stealing the US and Turkish occupations of our resources from oil, wheat, and cotton in the northeastern and northern regions of the country, and all of this requires strengthening cooperation and coordination with partners and working with UN organizations to increase the necessary funding to support livelihood and recovery projects in various sectors.
For his part, Abdel Mawli stressed the significance of focusing on early recovery plans, as work is currently being done to formulate a plan that includes several basic sectors: education, health, water and hygiene, and livelihoods, in addition to electricity, to enable Syrians to rely on themselves, especially Syria is rich in qualified human resources , in away contributing the return of internally displaced persons and the return of the refugees abroad.
