Syrian karate team gains 9 medals in West Asian Championship, Jordan

Amman, SANA- The Syrian karate team won 9 silver and 8 bronze medals in the West Asian Championship, which concluded its competitions Sunday in the Jordanian capital of Amman.

Rayan Nasr gained bronze medals weighing under 57 kg, Hashem Al-Hussein, weighing under 55 kg, Mustafa Amshouq, weighing under 50 kg, Salwa Al-Dari, weighing under 57 kg, Hadeel Abu Raslan, , Nazima Ali Bey, weighing under 68 kg, and Kholoud Ali, weighing over 68 kg, while the silver went to Malika Sheikh Mous, weighing under 53 kg.

Nine countries participated in this tournament Which are Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Palestine, Yemen, Iraq, Bahrain, in addition to Syria.
