Syrian-Algerian talks held to enhance cooperation in health sector

Damascus, SANA- Health Minister Dr. Hassan al-Ghobash, discussed with the Algerian Ambassador in Damascus, Kamel Bouchama, ways to enhance health cooperation binding the two countries.

Al-Ghobash praised Algeria’s positions, particularly the support it provided to Syria during the earthquake disaster by sending humanitarian and medical aid, not to mention relief teams.

Al-Ghobash pointed out to the importance of exchanging scientific experiences through the exchange of doctors’ visits, as well as to joint coordination regarding the pharmaceutical industries, which contributes greatly to the development of the health sector in both countries.

the Algerian ambassador expressed his country’s willingness to the joint coordination in the field of training human cadres to exchange experiences, especially since Syria has medical cadres with great experience.
