National Earthquake Center records 7 tremors over past 24 hours

Damascus, SANA-Tthe National Earthquake Center (NEC) has announced recording 7 weak and medium-intensity tremors during the past 24 hours.

The center said in a statement to SANA that the stations of the National Seismological Monitoring Network recorded 7 tremors, two of which were in Liwa Iskenderun, one of which was 3.4 degrees on the Richter scale, and 3 in Turkey, the highest of which ranged between 2.6 and 4.4 degrees.

The center added that the stations also recorded an earthquake of 2.1 degrees in northern Lebanon, and an earthquake of 2.5 degrees in Cyprus on the Richter scale.
