Provinces, SANA-Army and Armed Forces on Monday continued operations of hunting down terrorist organizations’ members, destroying their dens and killing dozens of them in several areas around the country.
Aleppo
Units of the army and armed forces thwarted Monday an attempt by a terrorist organization to attack many military posts in the surroundings of Handarat, killed and wounded many of its members, destroyed many of their vehicles, including one armored, equipped with mid machine-guns in Anadan, Maskana, Khan al-Assal, talat al-Madafeh, Heritan and al-Halaby farms in the countryside of Aleppo, a military source told SANA.
Damascus countryside
The army carried out a series of special operations against dens of terrorists in Damascus countryside.
SANA field reporter said units from the army killed terrorist Seif Allah al-Shehibi, leader at Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization near al-Huda mosque in Ain Tarma in al-Ghouta.
Meanwhile, the army destroyed gatherings of terrorists and killed all who were inside near al-Fawal mosque in Douma.
Clashes between units of the army and terrorist groups in Aliya farms to the north of Douma led to the killing of several terrorists.
In Zamalka, units of the army smashed a warehouse of weapons for the so-called “Liwa al-Islam” terrorist organization to the east of Askar mosque, killing many of them and injuring others.
Some 15 terrorists were also killed in Marj al-Sultan town in al-Nashabiya in al-Ghouta.
In al-Qalamoun Mountains near the Lebanese borders, the army inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists, destroying their dens in Tal Moussa and al-Rafe’e in Ras al-Ma’ara.
Earlier, a military source told SANA that the army killed a number of terrorists in the surroundings of Hasnou town in Damascus countryside.
Quneitra
Dozens of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists were killed due to a military operation launched by an army unit against their hideouts in the village of Rasm al-Khawaled in the countryside of the southern province of Quneitra, a military source told SANA.
The army operation against al-Nustra terrorists in the village resulted in the destruction of a number of their vehicles with all weapons and ammunition inside them, according to the source.
Another army unit destroyed a Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization’s hideout and a warehouse for weapons and ammunition in Um Batenah in the countryside of the province.
Meanwhile, a number of terrorists were killed , others injured in a military operation launched by an army unit on one of Jabhat al-Nusra hideouts in the village of Mass-hara in the countryside of the province of Quneitra.
Daraa
A military source told SANA that the army smashed dens of terrorists in Attaman town in Daraa northern countryside and in Busra al-Sham to the east, killing a number of terrorists and injuring many others.
Earlier, Army units killed numbers of terrorists in Tal Antar and Tal al-Mal and the towns of al-Mal, Inkhel, al-Foqei’, al-Teeha and Ibtah in Daraa countryside.
A military source told SANA that a den of terrorists’ leaders was also targeted in al-Jiza area 13 km from the Jordanian borders where the den was completely destroyed.
Another military operation was launched against terrorists in al-Sammad village to the south of Busra al-Sham in the eastern countryside of the province where terrorists’ weapons, ammunition and vehicles were destroyed.
Also, army units inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists of al-Qaeda-linked Jabhat al-Nusra and al-Mothanna Movement during operations that targeted their hideouts in Daraa al-Balad neighborhood, al-Sheikh Maskin town, Tal Motoueq, Inkhel, Qarfa and Attman.
Other army units eliminated many terrorists in Mzairib, Tisia, al-Jabiye hills, al-Hara, Antar, and al-Alaqiya in Daraa countryside, in addition to destroying one of their weapons and ammo depots near the town of Maaraba in the province’s eastern countryside.
Army units also eliminated many terrorists, most of them Saudis, Jordanians, and Tunisians, in Jumleh area in Daraa’s western countryside.
Idleb
An army unit killed 20 terrorists, most of them foreigners including an Egyptian nicknamed “Abu Hamada al-Masri,” while repelling an attack by the terrorists on the Idleb-Harem road in the countryside of Idleb province.
Three vehicles and a heavy artillery gun belonging to the terrorists were destroyed in the clash.
Another unit of the army destroyed a den of terrorists, an armed vehicle, and a car equipped with heavy machinegun, and killed a number of terrorists and wounded others in Tal Anoon area north of Bennesh city, in addition to killing a number of terrorists and destroying their weapons and ammunition in Abu al-Duhour, Tal Salmou and Um Jreen in the eastern countryside of the province.
A number of terrorists were killed in a special operation in Nahla village in Areeha area, while an army unit attacked terrorists’ gatherings and killed a number of them in Halouz and al- Taeibat villages in Jesr al-Shoughour countryside.
The army also destroyed terrorists’ dens and killed a number of them in Jub al-Ahmar village near the Lattakia province administrative borders line.
Homs
A military source told SANA that the army killed a number of terrorists and injured many others in al-Aziziyat village to the east of Hasiya in Homs countryside.
An army unit clashed with ISIS terrorists who had attempted to attack the Ebla gas pipeline northwest of Oum al-Tababir village in Homs’ eastern countryside.
The clash left most of the terrorists dead or injured and resulted in the destruction of their equipment, and the remaining terrorists fled the scene.
Meanwhile, Units of the army and armed forces destroyed a number of terrorists’ vehicles in Balaas, al-Twinat, Jabbat Hamad, Talsbieseh, Der Fool and al-Sa’an in the countryside of Homs
Sweida
A unit of army and armed forces launched a special operation against terrorist organizations’ dens and hideouts in the eastern countryside of Sweida province in which many terrorists were killed and wounded.
“An army unit destroyed a den of takfiri terrorist organizations and a vehicle equipped with a heavy machine gun, killing and wounding some of their members in Sa’ad village in the eastern desert of Sweida”, a military source told SANA Monday.
Hama
Units of the army and armed forces killed Monday a number of terrorists in Kibarat al-Hamra, Aziziyah, Jana al-Elbawi, Lattamenah, Adleh, Qastal Wastany, Rasem al-Ahmar, al-Faside, al-Hadaj, al-Rowieda, al-Mustariha, al-Khashabiya and the surroundings of Tal-Sleimah, and destroy four of their vehicles, including Ekirbat, equipped with mid machine-guns in the countryside of the province.
