A ship carrying relief aid from Romania arrives at Tartous port

Tartous, SANA- A ship carrying relief aid provided by the Romanian people and the Syrian community in Romania arrived at Tartous port for earthquake- affected people that struck the country on the 6th of last February.

The deputy head of the Executive Office in Tartous Governorate, the Judge Hassan Nous, said the aid are food items , clothes, shoes, blankets and requirements for children.

He noted that it’s the first time a ship carrying aid has come to Syria from European ports.
