Rome, SANA- An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale struck Italy on Tuesday.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located 5 kilometers to the northeast of the city of Macerata in Le Marche province on the Italian east coast, and it was two kilometers deep, the website of Russia Today channel quoted the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) as saying.
There was no immediate information about damage or casualties.
