Relief aid from the Sultanate of Oman and Jordan reaches Nassib border crossing

Daraa, SANA- Various humanitarian and relief aid arrived on Monday through Nassib border crossing in Daraa countryside for those affected by the earthquake, provided by the Sultanate of Oman and the Jordanian Aqaba Chamber of Commerce.

Chairman of the Chamber, Nael Kabariti, stated that a convoy carrying about 100 tons of aid was organized on board 6 trucks in cooperation with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, noting that the aid includes foodstuffs, clothing, household electrical appliances and heaters, and will be delivered to Aleppo Chamber of Commerce to be distributed to the earthquake-affected people as an expression of solidarity with them.

In turn, a member of the relief sector’s executive office in Daraa Governorate, Walid al-Dakhoul said that 3 trucks provided by the Syrian community in the Sultanate of Oman arrived at Nassib border crossing, loaded with relief and medical materials for those affected by the earthquake.

On Sunday, four trucks coming from Bahrain arrived at Nassib crossing, loaded with relief materials for those affected by the earthquake.
