New Delhi/ SANA-Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Fayssal Mikdad, discussed Saturday with his Indian counterpart, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, bilateral relations and the latest developments in Syria and the world.
During a session of talks held in the Indian capital of New Delhi, Mikdad briefed Jaishankar on the efforts Syria exerts in the war on terror sponsored by external powers, stressing that resilience of the army and people in Syria has contributed to the victory on terrorism.
Mikdad referred to the negative impact of the unilateral coercive measures imposed on the Syrian people and their suffering due to the blockade.
He called on Indian companies to invest in Syria and help reconstruct what has been destroyed by the war.
The Indian Minister, for his part, affirmed his country’s support for Syria in all domains, particularly in medicine, artificial limps and increasing scholarships.
