Russia’s Federal Security Service foils attempted terror attack in Stavropol

Moscow, SANA- Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) has thwarted a terror attack being plotted by supporters of Ukrainian nationalists in southern Russia as Four people were arrested.

“The Federal Security Service has foiled an attempt at criminal activity by a group of four people who have been planning to commit a terrorist attack in the Stavropol Region. It was established that, as supporters of the ideology of Ukraine’s nationalist organizations, the detainees had been plotting a terror attack at a regional administration facility,” FSB said, adding that the suspects were in custody.

FSB officers confiscated fire arms, explosives, components for a flamethrower, a home-made explosive device and manuals on how to organize mass disorder from the detainees’ premises and a cache.
