Al-Wahda women’s basketball team will participate in West Asia Championship

Damascus, SANA – The Syrian al-Wahda women’s basketball team will participate in West Asia Championship, scheduled for March in Jordan.

Al-Wahda, which holds the League Championship title, won the Arab Clubs Championship in the United Arab Emirates.

The Syrian team has a big chance of winning the West Asia Championship given the fact that it depends totally on Syrian players as no foreign players are allowed to participate, according to a decision by the West Asian Basketball Association.
