Idleb, SANA- More than 800 families have returned to Maarat al-Numan city, in Idleb countryside, after eliminating the remnants of terrorism from it and providing the basic services to the city.
The returnees were received at a reception center that was opened to recieve the requests of the citizens.
Idleb governor Thaer Salahab told SANA in a statement on Saturday that the citizens’ requests to return were submitted to the center that was established for this purpose, indicating that the basic services have been ensured for those families.
Specialized workshops started to remove the rubble from the main streets and the roads of the city, the governor said, adding that Idleb governorate has been authorized to ensure the basic services for the returnees, including drinking water, electricity, schools and others in a way that helps the citizens to settle inside the city.
The returnees hailed the efforts exerted by the province to ensure the requirements of the families who returned to the city, asserting that those procedures will contribute to pushing further families to return to the city.
