Mikdad and Al Zayani : Uniting Arab nation and surmounting divisions are key to overcome joint challenges

New York, SANA- Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Fayssal Mikdad, discussed on Wednesday with his Bahraini counterpart, Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the latest developments in the region and aspects of promoting the bilateral relations.

The two ministers asserted the importance of unifying the Arab rank and surmounting divisions to overcome challenges the Arab states expose to.

In this context, Minister Mikdad clarified that Syria’s priority is to strengthen the Arab ties.

Al Zayani,in turn, noted to the need to cooperate and build bridges  with sisterly and friendly countries, underlining that Bahrain supports Syria’s unity and territorial integrity along with restoring its full stability.

The two ministers agreed to maintain meetings and communications among the two counties officials.
