Tehran, SANA- Culture Minister Lubana Mshaweh reiterated the importance of promoting the joint cultural relations between Syria and Iran.
This came during a meeting between Mshaweh and Payman Jebelli, the managing director of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB).
Minister Mshaweh, clarified that culture is cumulative process improved over time and an integrated system consistent with a policy and clear vision, voicing her appreciation to the Iranian government and its people who belong to a civilization similar to the highly prestigious Syrian one.
The minister pointed out that bilateral cooperation will comprise Iranian Cultural Week held in Damascus involving various events of large exhibition that showcases Iranian handicrafts, photo and calligraphy along with screening of Iranian films.
Jebelli, on his part, underlined the importance of expanding media and cultural relations between the two countries, referring to the opening of a new channel , AlalamSyria, in Tehran with the aim of deepening their historical ties.
