Culture Minister, Iranian Governor of Shiraz discuss cultural ties

Tehran, SANA- Culture Minister Lubana Mshaweh discussed with Governor of the Culture Iranian city of Shiraz, Mohammad Hadi Imanieh , the cultural relations between Syria and Iran and the importance of boosting them by exchanging cultural experiences.

Mshaweh drew attention to the experiences of the Syrian Ministry of Culture in the field of adolescent education and launching community development by creating cultural centers in prisons and special courses for popular culture in all governorates and qualifying generations for music and theater and in various types of plastic arts.

The two sides discussed the possibility of exchanging cultural weeks between Shiraz and the Syrian provinces, cooperation in the field of the film industry, translating Iranian literature into Arabic, and transferring the production of Syrian writers into Persian.

In turn, Imanieh reviewed the cultural and tourism situation in Shiraz, expressing his readiness for all areas of cultural cooperation and the provision of scholarships to Syrian students.
