London, SANA- Doctors expressed concern about the health of Queen Elizabeth II, 96-year-old, while her family gathered at Balmoral Palace in Scotland, where she is staying.
The Queen is under medical supervision at Balmoral after doctors became concerned for her health, Buckingham Palace has said.
British media said that Prince Charles and other members of the royal family are at her side at the royal residence in Scotland.
Concerns for the Queen’s health were first raised on Wednesday when she pulled out of a virtual privy council meeting after doctors ordered her to rest.
Elizabeth II ascended the throne on February 6, 1952, at the age of 25, after the death of her father, King George VI.
She has been a widow since the departure of her husband, Prince Philip, in April 2021, just before he turned 100.
