Upon directives of president al-assad, 1450 internet gates and two mobile stations set up in Aleppo

Damascus,SANA- Upon the directives of president Bashar al-Assad, following his latest visit to Aleppo, Syrian company for Communications implemented ADSL gates in Khan Al-Wazir And the baron centers that supply the old city markets with fixed phone and internet services in Aleppo.

The Ministry of Communications and Technology pointed out in a statement to SANA that 800 new internet gates had been installed and operated at the Khan al-Wazir Communication Center, in addition to the installation and operation of 650 new gateways at the Baron telephone center.

The ministry added that work is underway to improve communications in the city of Aleppo and its countryside, within the capabilities available to fixed and cellular operators , and with the aim of providing a supportive environment and the necessary facilities for the work of various economic actors within the old city in the governorate.
