Baghdad, SANA-The Syrian media won six gold awards at the end of the 13th Al-Ghadeer International Media Festival in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
During the closing ceremony, the General Authority for Radio and Television in Syria, Al-Souriya TV, Soriana Radio, the Drama Department in the authority and the Qobnod Media distribution and production won golden awards.
The festival administration also awarded a special prize to the Syrian Director Basil Al-Khatib.
Deputy Minister of Information Ahmed Dawa pointed out the role of the Syrian media in confronting and exposing the misleading campaigns that the hostile media tried to market them to obliterate the facts in Syria.
The Deputy Minister praised the efforts made to continue holding Al Ghadeer Festival, stressing the importance of the unity of the discourse that resists the American-Zionist hegemony.
