Damascus, SANA-Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Amro Salem, discussed with Oscar Ruben Salomon Fernandez, President of Senate of Paraguay and the accompanying delegation, ways of developing economic cooperation and trade exchange between the two countries.
Minister Salem said “this visit constitutes a constructive start for developing economic cooperation, increases mutual trade exchange and overcomes difficulties and obstacles”. He also expressed the ministry’s readiness exert all efforts to achieve the common interest of the two peoples.
Fernandez pointed out to “the great opportunities for economic cooperation between the two sides could be developed to achieve high level “. he also pointing out “the importance of this meeting, as the Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection is the first concerned with securing basic materials for the Syrian people”.
