Brazil rejects G7 plans to put on restrictions on the purchase price of Russian oil

Brasilia, SANA- Brazil stated its refusal to support the plans of the G7 countries to impose restrictions on the purchase price of Russian oil.

“Brazil is not part of the G7 and is not subject to its decisions”, RIA Novosti reported the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs as saying on Friday.

The leaders of the countries of the group, which includes the United States, Britain, Germany, Italy, Canada, France and Japan, announced at their summit on the 26th and 28th of last June their intention to “reduce energy dependence on Russia” and agreed in principle to start limiting Russian oil and gas prices.
