Syrian-Iranian talks to boost economic, industrial cooperation

Aleppo, SANA- Syria and Iran discussed on Friday means of activating the economic and industrial cooperation between both countries.

Minister of Industry, Ziyad Sabbagh met the advisor to Iranian First Vice President, Iranian economic representative in Damascus, Abbas Akbar with discussions focusing on identifying common denominators about the industrial sector in both countries in order to discuss the setting up of projects of economic feasibility.

Minister Sabbagh underlined the importance of economic relations with Iran, noting to the importance of continuous coordination between the two countries to gain victory in the economic war and overcome the unjust sanctions that affect countries of resistance.

He added that there are a lot of companies that have been affected by terrorism and they can be rehabilitated and returned to production through a form of partnership with Iran.

In turn, the Iranian advisor reiterated his country’s support for Syria to confront the economic war imposed on it, hailing the deep-rooted relations between the two countries.
