Head of Sahim al-Golan town council injured by fire of unidentified gunmen, Daraa countryside

Daraa, SANA- Unidentified gunmen opened fire on Head of Sahim al-Golan Town Council, Naim al-Nazzal, in Daraa western countryside, seriously wounding him.

Director-General of the General Authority of Daraa Hospital, Dr. Yahya Kiwan, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the Emergency Department received al-Nazzal who sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was severely bleeding.

Upon his arrival at the hospital, the medical staff took the initiative to carry out emergency interventions, and now his condition is stable and he is receiving the necessary treatment, Dr. Kiwan added.
