Syria’s tennis team ranks first in West Asian Championship

Manama, SANA- With 2780 points, Syria’s tennis team has won the first place in the ITF Asia 14&U Development Championships – West and Central Asia held in the Bahraini capital, Manama.

The Syrian team achieved the first three places in the singles cub category through Mary Abrash, Baneh Azi and Alia Maroud, respectively. In the doubles competition, Mary Abrash and Baneh Ezzi won the first place, while Alia Marwad and Yara Kayyal came in second place.

In the Cubs category, Laith al-Hassan, Osama Siraj and Nawar Zahr Eddine achieved fifth, sixth and seventh places, respectively.
