12 civilians, including children, evacuated from Azovstal factory in Mariupol

Moscow, SANA-Russian forces and the Donetsk People’s Republic’ forces evacuated civilians from the Azovstal Factory, the last stronghold of Ukrainian forces and Nazi extremists in Mariupol city, Donetsk Republic.

The evacuated group of 12 civilians, including four children, who left the factory complex on a minibus through a humanitarian corridor provided by Russian and Donetsk Republic forces, According to RIA Novosti Agency.

The step is expected to be followed by other groups of civilians who are being held by the Ukrainian forces at the Azovstal factory and used as human shields.

Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the Russian forces not to storm the factory, which includes a complex network of underground facilities, and impose a siege on the Ukrainian forces entrenched there, which refuse to surrender and continue to detain civilians there.
