Syrians in Stockholm celebrate evacuation Day

Stockholm, SANA-National Union for Syrian Expatriates in Europe and Sweden held a celebration on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the Evacuation Day.

Head of the National Union for Syrian Expatriates in Sweden, Kabi Isho, affirmed in his speech that the Syrians are sons of a land, glories, and history, who have the right to be proud of their identity and belonging wherever they are, pointing out that the anniversary of the independence Day is a historical moment with which promise is renewed to complete the liberation process and expel the greedy and occupiers from every inch of the motherland of Syria.

In turn, Representative of the Syrian embassy in Stockholm, First Secretary Ihab Al-Youssef, noted to the importance of the anniversary of the evacuation in the hearts of the Syrians, which embodies the meanings of sacrifice and the will of liberation, pointing out that the sacrifices and heroisms of the Syrian Arab Army that achieved liberation in the past are repeated today in confronting the terrorist war on Syria.

Al-Youssef pointed out that the Syrians’ national activities abroad affirm their adherence and loyalty to the homeland and their confidence in achieving victory and return of security and stability to Syria.
