Russian security Service arrests ten terrorists linked to “Tahrir al-Sham”

Moscow, SANA- Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) arrested ten terrorists involved in financing the so-called ” Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) ” terrorist organization linked to “Jabhat al-Nusra” in a number of Russian regions.

“We foild movements of ten people participating in the terrorist organization currently active in parts of Syria -Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham-on the territories of the republics of Bashkortostan, Dagestan, Ingushetia, the Krasnodar Territory, Astrakhan, Volgograd, Novosibirsk, Tula and Tyumen,” according to a statement issued Friday by the security service.

The statement added, “The arrested people established a wide network to collect, accumulate and transfer funds to accounts and bank cards registered to a third party.”

It noted that the funds that were received under the cover of “charity works” were aimed at meeting the needs of the terrorists in Idlib.
