Syria harvests four medals at Arab Wrestling Championship

Riyadh, SANA-The Syrian national wrestling team gained four medals on the second day of the Arab Youth and Junior Championship for Roman and Freestyle Wrestling hosted by Saudi Arabia.

A gold medal went for Ali Derki in the competitions of the 65 kg category, while athlete Ali Nshiwati won a silver medal in the competitions of the 125kg category, Anwar Sharafawy won a silver medal in the 93 kg category, and Ahmed Obeid gained a bronze medal in the 77 kg weight category.

Over the first and second days, the Syrian team gained 8 various medals (2 gold, 3 silver, 3 bronze) to rank in the third place in the general ranking of the youth category among 12 participating teams at the championship competitions.
