Moscow, SANA- The UN is not able to guarantee the arrival of the Russian delegation, headed by Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, to the meeting of the Human Rights Council (HRC) in Geneva, Russian Foreign Ministry said on Monday.
“The UN cannot ensure the arrival of a Russian delegation led by Lavrov to a meeting of the Disarmament Committee and the Human Rights Council in Geneva,” the Ministry Spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova was cited by Sputnik News Agency as saying.
She added the UN and its Secretary-General, António Guterres are obligated to ensure the delegation’s arrival to the UN headquarters and its office in Geneva.
Zakharova went on saying that the EU requested to draw up documents about this flight, since the European countries prevented the Russian planes to enter their airspace.
