Damascus, SANA – With participation of Syria, the Gulf International Food Exhibition, Gulfood 2022, will be kicked off in Dubai on Sunday
The Syrian pavilion covers an area 318 square meters in the Gulfood 2022 as 25 Syrian food companies will participate in the exhibition, specialized in production and marketing of olive oil, spices, hot and cold drinks, baked goods, sweets, chocolate and other Syrian food products prepared for export, according to Local Production and Export Support and Development Authority.
The authority pointed out that Gulfood Dubai is the largest and the most important among the international exhibitions specialized in food and drink industries, with 120 countries and over 4,000 companies specialized in the food industry and marketing participating in it.
In turn, a member of the Board of Directors of Damascus and its Countryside Chamber of Industry and head of the food sector in the Chamber, Talal Qala’ji, pointed out that there are another 20 Syrian food industry companies involved outside the Syrian pavilion, bringing the number of participating Syrian companies to 45.
