Rajoub: Visit to Syria is a starting point to formulate the Palestinian situation

Damascus, SANA-  Secretary General of Central Committee of Palestinian National Liberation Movement ( Fatah), Jibril Rajoub, said that that non-existence of Syria in the Arab League is “a shame on  the Arabs,” particularly because Syria is a founding state in the Arab League and it should return to it.

Rajoub, in a press conference on Monday that his visit to Damascus along the accompanying delegation will establish for a genuine starting point to formulate  the Palestinian situation in light of the unprecedented escalation of the Israeli occupation to liquidate the Palestinian cause.

Rajoub referred to “an imminent visit for Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to Syria,” thanking the Syrian State, as people and leadership, for its firm stances in support of Syria despite the difficult circumstances it has passed through during the past years.
