50 new coronavirus infections, 100 recoveries, 4 deaths recorded in Syria

Damascus, SANA- 50 new coronavirus cases, 100 recoveries and 4 deaths were recorded in Syria on Thursday, according to the Health Ministry.

Damascus, SANA- 50 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria and 100 patients recovered, while 4 others passed away, according to the Health Ministry.

“The total number of infections registered in the country has reached up to 49,911 of which 31,476 have recovered, while the death toll has reached up to 2,859,” the Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.

On March 22^nd last year, the first coronavirus case was detected in a person who came from abroad, meanwhile the first fatality was reported on the 29^th of the same month.
