Arnous, chairing a governmental delegation, starts a visit to Deir Ezzor Province

Deir Ezzor, SANA- Prime Minister Hussein Arnous, chairing a governmental delegation, started on Sunday a visit to  Deir Ezzor Province to inspect a number of service and developmental projects and the percentage of their execution in the Province.

The visit includes inspecting a number of wheat fields that are being prepared to be cultivated during the next season and to get acquainted with the reality of the work in the third sector of the governmental irrigation in the eastern countryside of the province.

The delegation visited the rehabilitation projects of the old bus terminal, the city council building, as well as several avenues and bridges over the Euphrates River.

The delegation made a tour of the city’s souks and visited the Electronic Citizen Service Center in the al-Thawra neighborhood.

In a statement to the journalists, Arnous affirmed that the visit comes upon the directives of President Bashar al-Assad and also after the massive return of Deir Ezzor people to the homeland, therefore the government is there to attend to their needs after the siege and the systematic destruction have been caused to the province by the terrorist organizations.

The governmental delegation encompasses Ministers of Local Administration and Environment, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Agriculture, Oil and Chairman of Planning and International Cooperation Commission.
