Expo 2020 Dubai celebrates Syria’s National Day

Dubai, SANA-Expo 2020 Dubai celebrates Syria’s National Day within the National Days of participant countries in the Expo.

“We, in Syria, seek to invest all available capabilities and energies towards the development of our economy”, Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade, Mohammad Samer al-Khalil said.

“On Syria’s National Day which witnesses diverse models and shows of important historic stages that Syria has passed through towards the future, we invite you to share us the stage of work, production and construction”, al-Khalil added.

 

He went on saying that “we hope the Expo would fulfil its targets in enhancing relations and cooperation, supporting and developing partnerships, as well establishing new ones which contribute to achieving the good for all.

“We believe that international cooperation must be a key factor to move any economic work forwards in line with development of the countries priorities,” al-Khalil affirmed.

He added that today’s celebration is an extension of the Syrian pavilion’s activities which show a mini-image of Syria, the cradle of civilizations On Syria’s National Day, the country of wheat, olive, laurel and jasmine, we affirm that our participation’s motto -Together, the future is ours- is a reality, thanks to the Syrians’ efforts to rebuild their own country, the Minister added.

 

“We congratulate you on the distinguished participation under the motto “Together, the Future is ours” which we see as an appropriate opportunity to let the world get acquainted with the achievements of Syrian people”, Executive Director of Commissioner General Office, Expo 2020 Dubai, Najeeb Mohammed al-Ali said.

He underlined the deeply historic relations that bind Syria and the UAE , referring to the Syrians’ role in medicine, education and media in the country.
