Tehran, SANA-Head of the Joint Ministerial Committee , Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Rostam Ghasemi, discussed with Syria’s Ambassador to Iran Shafiq Dayoub means of boosting strategic cooperation between the two countries in the domains of economy, commerce, investment, agriculture, roads ,transportation and power, in a way that serves the requirement of the current and future period in the interests of the two states and peoples.
Ghasemi stressed that the new Iranian government is keen to enhance the cooperation with Syria in all domains in a way that fulfills the aspirations and interests of the two friendly peoples.
In turn ,Dayoub underlined the importance of setting plans to strengthen the joint work in the upcoming period and implement the agreements and memos of understanding inked in all domains, referring to the necessity of facilitating the transit movement and transport, in addition to the joint railway and land roads connection in a way that eases the commerce movement and the flow of goods between the two counties in cooperation and coordination with Iraq.
