Damascus, SANA- 392 new coronavirus infections, 95 recoveries, and 11 deaths were reported in Syria on Wednesday, according to the Health Ministry.
In a statement to SANA, the Ministry indicated that the number of coronavirus infections registered in the country have reached up till now to 40294, out of which 25290 cases have recovered while 2457 ones passed away.
The first coronavirus case was detected in Syria on March 22nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was recorded on the 29th of the same month.
