381 new coronavirus infections, 17 deaths recorded in Syria

Damascus, SANA- 381 new coronavirus infections, 72 recoveries and 17 deaths were reported in Syria on Sunday, according to the Health Ministry.

Meanwhile, the total number of the coronavirus cases recorded in Syria has reached up to 39,086 till now, while the recoveries have amounted to 25,015, and the deaths have climbed to 2,408.

The first coronavirus case was detected in Syria on March 22^nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was recorded on the 29^th of the same month.
