Yerevan, SANA- Armenian Foreign Minister , Ararat Mirzoyan, stressed his country’s keenness on developing relations with Syria in all fields , reiterating Armenia ’s support for Syria’s sovereignty and unity.
Mirzoyan, Meeting Syria’s Ambassador to Armenia , Mohammed Haj Ibrahim, said “ Armenia highly appreciates the historic relations with Syria and follows up the situation in it , supporting its sovereignty and territorial integrity , this is our stance which has never changed”
He referred that Armenia is looking forward to boosting the economic ties between the two countries.
In turn, Ambassador Haj Ibrahim thanked Armenia as a state and people and its support to Syria during the terrorist war , wishing progress and prosperity for it and success for its newly -established government in achieving its objectives.
