Beirut, SANA- Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah Party Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has affirmed that the United States allegations on fighting Daesh “ISIS” terrorist organization in Syria and the region are “flimsy and false”, stressing that the Syrian Arab Army and the armies of the region and its peoples are capable of eliminating this organization.
In a speech on Thursday during a ceremony marking the 10th of Muharram (Ashura) in the Southern Suburb, Nasrallah said that the US allegations on fighting Daesh (ISIS) terrorist organization in Syria are a flimsy pretext and a false and deceptive allegation.”
He noted that one who defeated ISIS in the region has been the Syrian Arab Army and its allies.
Sayyed Nasrallah also asserted the existence of irrefutable evidence that the United States is working to reproduce the “ISIS” organization, pointing out in this regard that the American occupation forces are transferring the organization’s terrorists from one region to another to use them according to its agendas.
He said that the American occupation forces are stealing the resources of the Syrian people and they must leave the Syrian territory because the real goal behind their presence is to plunder the Syrian people’s wealth of oil and gas and to support the separatist agendas in Syria, which the Syrian people reject and cannot accept.
Nasrallah stressed the necessity of returning all Syrian lands to the authority of the state, and said that the occupation forces would leave the occupied parts of Syria so that their oil and gas would return to its people who suffer as a result of the practices of these forces, in addition to the unjust coercive measures imposed by the United States and Western countries on the Syrian people.
Regarding the Palestinian issue, Nasrallah reiterated that the resistance’s top priority is to confront the Zionist entity which occupies Palestine and other parts of the Arab regions.
“Our firm, permanent and final stance is to stand by the oppressed Palestinian people until their land is restored,” he said.
