Three bronze medals and appreciation certificate for Syria at international Chemistry Olympiad

Damascus, SANA-The Syrian Scientific Olympiad students won three bronze medals and a certificate of appreciation at the 2021 international Chemistry Olympiad, which was organized remotely by Japan on July 28th with the participation of 79 countries.

The Distinction and creativity Agency said in a statement to SANA on Monday that the medals were awarded to students Maha Ali from Tartous, Ahmed Atar from Aleppo and Anas Abbas from Homs, while student Ali Maarouf received a certificate of appreciation from the National Center for Excellence.

This is the twelfth Syrian participation in this international competition, and its tests were taken by the Syrian international team with all its members from one examination center at the headquarters of the Distinction and Creativity Agency in Damascus, where the competitions included a theoretical test of 5 continuous hours.
