Damascus, SANA-Temperatures tend to rise slightly in the eastern and al-Jazeera regions to become from 3 to 4 degrees above average while they will remain around average in the other regions as the country is affected by a weak low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general with a chance for showers over the coastal mountains, while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Badia (semi-desert) and al-Jazeera region. At night, the weather will be relatively cold, particularly over the mountains.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a moderate speed and active gusts sometimes, while the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 33/17, Daraa 31/18, Homs 29/19, Lattakia 28/23, Aleppo 33/21 and Deir Ezzor 40/23.
