Damascus, SANA- Foreign and Expatriates’ Minister, Faysal Mikdad, discussed on Thursday with Iraqi Minister of Industry and Minerals, Manhal Aziz al-Khabbaz and an accompanying delegation, means and aspects of developing relations and the industrial cooperation between the two brotherly countries of Syria and Iraq.
Mikdad hoped that bilateral relations in the economic and industrial fields would witness the establishment of integrated and fruitful industrial projects during the next period, especially that the two industrial sections in both countries have suffered from the negative impacts and the destruction caused by terrorism in addition the unilateral coercive measures.
For his part, Minster al-Khabbaz pointed to the importance of this visit in activating and expanding cooperation and finding partnership opportunities in the industrial and economic field in the interest of the two countries.
He expressed aspiration that this visit would contribute to advancing joint relations and economic cooperation between the two countries to the best levels.
Industry Minister, Ziad Sabbagh attended the meeting.
