Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad received on Tuesday a cable of congratulation from President of the Republic of South Ossetia, Anatoly Bibilov on the occasion of winning the presidential election.
“Your winning in the election, by majority, clearly showed the appreciation and respect of the Syrian society for the great services you have provided to the country, the high confidence of the Syrian people who support your program that aims to achieve a comprehensive development,” president of South Ossetia said in the cable.
President Bibilov added “I express my confidence that thanks to our joint efforts, the friendship relations between our two countries would further develop.”
He also wished good health for president al -Assad and realizing more achievements and implementing programs aimed at gaining prosperity for the Syrian Arab Republic and bringing peace and prosperity all over country.
